Being charitable is one of the many values that we promote at Brookside. We were very pleased with the cake donations for our cake sale for the BBC Children in Need Charity. We are very grateful to all members of staff and parents, guardians and carers who donated for such an important cause, as well as the impressive support on the day. Our cake sale was a huge success, and we would like to thank all our parents, guardians, carers and the members of the local community for your contribution. The children from the Charity Council will be donating the surplus cakes that we received to the Food Bank. This is an amazing opportunity for them to learn how to pay it forward, and continue to support those in need. Well done to our Charity Council.
