  • Making Mosaics Like the Romans!

    In their art lessons, Year 3 Brasilia have been diving into the world of Roman mosaics—a perfect cross-curricular link to their History topic on the Romans. The children explored what mosaics are, how they were made in ancient times, and the significance they held in Roman culture. After researching and designing their own patterns, the pupils used small pieces of coloured paper to create their very own mosaic masterpieces. It was a hands-on, creative experience that brought their historical learning to life—and they had so much fun doing it!

  • Year 1 Set Sail on a Pirate Adventure!

    Our Year 1 pupils recently wowed us with their fantastic Pirate Assembly, following an actionpacked Pirate Workshop Day! The pupils explored the world of pirates through fun facts, role play, and even a
    hilarious puppet show. They learned about pirate life, famous legends. Inspired by the workshop, the children created their own pirates
    and brought their learning to life in a lively and creative assembly. It was an amazing success—full of laughter, learning, and a whole
    lot of “Ahoy!”

    On Saturday 26th April 2025, our pupils made us incredibly proud by taking part in the London TCS Mini Marathon. Their enthusiasm, determination, and sportsmanship were truly inspiring. Several of our runners were awarded medals for their efforts, which were proudly presented during Monday’s assembly on 28th April. A huge well done to all who took part—you represented our school brilliantly!

  • Year 4 Explore Ancient Egypt!

    On Tuesday 25th February, our Year 4 pupils took part in an exciting Ancient Egypt Workshop led by CREW©. Through dramatic role-play and hands-on activities, the children became archaeologists, uncovering artefacts and discovering what life was like under the rule of Pharaohs and Gods. From scribes to warriors, each child had a role to play in bringing Ancient Egypt to life. It was a fantastic experience that deepened their understanding of this fascinating civilization!
