Books, Bonding, and Big Smiles

This week, our school was delighted to host a Stay and Read session for our wonderful parents, guardians, and carers. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for families to spend quality time in the classroom, reading alongside their children and sharing the joy of books. Classrooms were filled with warmth, laughter, and the gentle hum of turning pages as adults joined their children for a special reading time. From picture books to early readers, everyone was fully engaged and enjoying the power of stories together. It was heart-warming to see so many families taking part, and the excitement on the pupils’ faces. These shared moments not only help build a love of reading but also strengthen the connection between home and school.
