Summer Spectacular - Update
Sincere thanks to all of the families who have made a timely response to the Summer Activity programme. As you can imagine, we have been overwhelmed by the demand for most of the activities on offer and therefore we thought it would be helpful to let you know which courses are already full:
|Arrangements for registration for the Summer Activity Programme 2019 will take place at wherever the activity is being held. It is important to check your confirmation letter, which clearly states where registration will be held for each session. Children must bring their individual passports to each of the pre-booked sessions, as proof of payment. This will be duly signed by the relevant member of staff, upon registration, in order to confirm attendance. If for some reason, your child is unable to attend any of the pre-booked activities, it is important that you inform Emma Laycock on 07508 428389 at least 24 hours in advance of the activity|
|NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT|
You will have already paid a £5.00 non-refundable deposit, when submitting your Registration Form.
Once you receive confirmation of a place for your child on the Activity Programme you will be requested to submit full payment, as stated above. Full payment in this instance is the cost of the activity or activities that have been confirmed for your child, minus the £5.00 non refundable deposit.
|CHECK IN TIMES FOR REGISTRATION - TRANSPORT REQUIRED|
Registration for your daily activities will be from 8:30am to 9:00am. Children should be registered at the school where the activity is taking place. The information for the place of registration for each activity is also stated in the confirmation letters that were sent to parents, guardians and carers. Parents, guardians or carers who have requested Trust transportation for their child from their school to another school, which is hosting a particular activity, must report to their own school’s reception 15 minutes prior to registration commencing in order to allow time to board the minibus and travel to the venue. The children will be returned to their own schools at the end of the day by 4:15pm.
|After payment is received and activities have been confirmed, your child’s personalised passport will be created, detailing all the activities they will be attending. You must keep your child’s personalised passport, as this is proof of both payment and your child’s attendance. More details to follow.|
|COLLECTION OF CHILDREN|
It is important to note that, for the purposes of safeguarding, children will not be released to any person who is not named on their ‘passport’. With this in mind and to avoid any unnecessary delays in the release of your child, it is imperative that you ensure the details of ALL persons permitted to collect them, are included.
|CHILDREN UNABLE TO ATTEND RRE- BOOKED ACTIVITIES|
|If for some reason, your child is unable to attend any of the Summer Activity Programme pre-booked activities, it is very important that you inform Emma Laycock on 07508 428389 at least 24 hours in advance of the activity.|
|CHANGE OF CONTACT DETAILS|
|In the best interest of your child’s wellbeing please ensure that you inform the registration staff if any of your contact details change in the time period leading up to and during the activity programme. Please remember we require two emergency contact numbers for each child.|
|MEALS AND SNACKS|
|As a general rule, children will be required to bring a packed lunch on those occasions when they will be staying with us for the entire day. A bottle of water and any discretionary snacks must also be provided. Children eligible for Free School Meals will have their lunch provided – you must make sure you have indicated this on the reply slip and noted any dietary requirements.|
