Can you Spot the Shapes? 25/01/21
Children in Stockholm have learnt a lot about two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) shapes. On Friday 15th January, the children applied their knowledge on the properties of shapes to complete activities such as naming shapes and grouping them by: a particular number of sides, those with more than 4 sides, those with curved sides and those with straight sides.
The children then created their own patterns using shapes and identified the odd one from the group of shapes given. They learnt that shapes remain the same, whether flipped or rotated; for example, a triangle will always have 3 sides.
