Guinness Book of World Records – Will it come home? 6/07/18

Friday 6thJuly, was the date that brother and sister twins, Kavish and Kaashni, Year 3 pupils at Brookside, had set for their Guinness Book of World of Records attempt. Unfortunately, due to medical issues Kavish had to withdraw as advised by his consultants. However, this did not stop him from standing by his sister as she attempted to break the world record. We had a great show of support from pupils, parents, guardians, carers, teachers and other staff from across the Trust as well as the adjudicators.

Kaashni, moved the audience by showing her tremendous talent and tenacity to beat the record, which we believe she did as we recorded 617 hula hoop rotations in 3 minutes. The current record stands at just 500 rotations. Well Done Kaashni! We now just await confirmation from the official adjudicator that Kaashni has broken the current world record.

Just goes to prove that any of our children can achieve if they believe!
